FOR THE REEL
The client, in alliance with the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), launched a new national contest for aspiring young filmmakers called “For the Reel”. Participants were invited to send a script idea that explores a more edgy theme, utilizing the mobile phone as the filming medium. TWG was tasked to design an intriguing poster to promote the contest and encourage the target market to participate in this contest.
INSIGHT AND KEY CONSIDERATIONS
This poster needed to be not only creative to catch the attention of aspiring young film makers but also keep with the professional brand of the client and the TIFF.
Utilizing the photo assets from Motorola, TWG was able to design a life-like, on-site filming poster that had a call to action that was simple and to the point.
The number of entries was overwhelming. The client is considering expanding this program for the next TIFF!
