CHALLENGE

Hotel X Toronto is redefining the luxury hotel experience.

The challenge was to develop a brand guide to highlight the hotel’s luxury proposition while articulating visitor experience and value. The guide would need to clearly communicate the value proposition and positioning of Hotel X Toronto as a retreat to an urban oasis providing extraordinary waterfront and city skyline views, offering exceptional rooftop hospitality, exquisite dining, flexible meeting spaces, extraordinary events, expansive tennis, fitness and wellness facilities, exclusive theatres, and a one-of-a-kind photographic art gallery, all located at the historic Exhibition Place.

The brand guide would be a contemporary document designed to converge seamlessly with existing Library Hotel Collection brands including properties in New York City, Prague and Budapest.

IMPLEMENTATION

TWG’s creative team developed a highly effective visual brand guide for application across all of Hotel X Toronto’s marketing and communications properties.

INSIGHT AND KEY CONSIDERATIONS

The brand guide needs to ensure, design, photography and text clearly expresses the special character and uniqueness of Hotel X Toronto as a destination. At the same time the brand guide has to effectively communicate the essence of the Library Hotel Collection. Every communication would need to convey these attributes.
