STROKE AND CARDIAC CARE CAMPAIGN

CHALLENGE

North Bay & District Hospital Foundation presented TWG with a challenge to design a unique case for support brochure and executive summary to promote their latest campaign to raise funds for stroke and cardiac care equipment. This project not only had to stand out but be cost-effective in production.

Fresh from completing a successful award winning campaign for funding equipment for new operating room entitled, “Operating at the speed of life” the client returned to TWG looking for an equally successful case for support piece to help generate funds for the hospital’s stroke and cardiac care program.

INSIGHT AND KEY CONSIDERATIONS

North Bay & District Hospital is recognized as a leader as a centre of excellence in it’s district role for the treatment of stroke and heart disease. That being said, the client wanted to continue the recognition and offer accurate diagnosis and faster treatment to the area it serves.

IMPLEMENTATION

Taking into consideration the fact that the donors the client was to approach have more than likely proffered support in the past, the booklet needed to be unique attractive but not look like it.

RESULTS

The case for support clearly enhanced the Foundation’s ability to raise the funds to allow the hospital to continue to excel in treating the health needs of residents of North Bay and area. Furthermore, it received a bronze Summit award and rated one of the best public service announcement brochures at the 2009 competition.
