The Municipality of French River, commissioned TWG Communications to design a vibrant, contemporary and professional new Tourism Brand and signage strategy.
INSIGHT AND KEY CONSIDERATIONS
The French River is one of the most geographically diverse and physically beautiful parts of Ontario. As such, the French River area is a destination for those seeking to explore the great outdoors in a location where all four seasons offer exciting recreational opportunities.
The French River region competes for visitors in a crowded sector of the economy, tourism. Completion of the four lane (highway 69) will mean easier, safer, faster access for Southerners to explore the area.
TWG had to take into consideration the fact the French River is the amalgamation of several small communities into a larger municipality, so the outcome must encompass a regional culture.
TWG developed a variety of effective brand concepts that were were submitted to an internal municipal review panel for consideration. With the final design selected and approved, a comprehensive visual standards guide was developed to assure the new brand will be effectively applied across all communications.
The release of the new French River Tourism Brand has been very successful, receiving tremendous internal buy in from within the community. The new look is building awareness and providing a professional, bold and clean identity for the region.
